Pathwaysnw News

Dear Circle of Light,
The trees have lost most of their leaves, and the harvest has come in. Many animals finish foraging for food for the long winter months or prepare to hibernate. The earth becomes quieter, and in the areas where it snows, the snow creates a blanket on the Mother and reminds us to slow down and cuddle up.
Although I don’t miss the snow and the hard work that it entails, I have to be ever mindful of the necessity to slow down and follow the cycles of nature. The colder weather is telling me to retreat to the inner world, cozy up with a cup of tea, and reflect on this past year. Nature composts the old in preparation for the new. Here are a few questions for reflection, meditation or journeying.
What do I need to compost from the past year to continue to move forward?
What do I need to celebrate and feel grateful for?
How can I create a fall/winter ceremony that honors all of creation?
How can I find stillness in the noise and chaos of these challenging times?
I hope you will join me in Transfiguration in December and in the coming year. I will be posting dates in the next few weeks for the first quarter of the year for Transfiguration, the Journey Practice Group, and a Beginning Shamanic Journeying Class.
And remember, you are Divine Light and Let Your Light Shine.
Happy Solstice and many blessings as we light up the world with our light and as we flow with the river of life.
Debra
